B50 Vertical Bar Balustrades Supporting a Landmark Regeneration Project
Golf Links Estate is a major residential regeneration scheme in Southall, delivering 143 affordable homes across three contemporary apartment buildings ranging from six to eight storeys.
Working alongside Hill Partnerships, Stephen Taylor Architects and ECE Architecture, BA Systems designed, manufactured and installed our B50 Vertical Bar Balustrade system to Blocks A, B and C. The package was developed to complement the architectural design while simplifying interfaces with surrounding trades and supporting efficient installation on site.
Delivering More Than a Standard Balustrade
BA Systems worked closely with the project team to develop a bespoke balustrade solution tailored to the architectural and technical requirements of the development.
Our modular B50 Vertical Bar Balustrade system was adapted to incorporate bespoke interface details that reduced interaction with surrounding trades while maintaining the clean architectural appearance specified by the design team. The system provided a durable, compliant solution ideally suited to a modern residential development.

incorporated directly into the balustrade module, creating a coordinated and efficient balcony edge solution.

Fabricated as part of the balustrade system, with integrated first-fix base brackets to simplify interfacing with the roofing membrane and a hidden sleeve fixing detail at the top of the column.

Angled vertical bars
introduced as a distinctive architectural feature, enhancing the visual character of the building while maintaining the performance of the B50 system.
