Blake Envelopes
BA Systems were called in to provide a balustrades solution for a prestigious office development project for Blake Envelopes.
Working directly with the client, BA Systems B40 structural glass balustrades was specified to the large mezzanine area that overlooked the void below. Perfectly complimenting the surrounding design and décor, the glass and offset satin stainless steel handrail became a design feature in its own right.
The elliptical floor plan design of the mezzanine area was creating a problem for the client. The structural glass balustrade had to be constructed using curved glass panels. This is a costly method as each individual glass panel has to be created as a bespoke item.
BA Systems were able to provide the solution by supplying faceted glass panels that were cost-effective at the same time as retaining the desired effect.
