Clifftown Shore is a Beyond the Box residential development situated in Southend-On-Sea in Essex. The development’s stunning location provides the perfect view for residents, offering luxury 1, 2 & 3 bedroom seafront apartments and penthouses directly overlooking the beach and sea!

Designed by LAP Architects, the building takes inspiration from the Art Deco style of the neighbouring buildings.

BA Systems identified the scheme as an opportunity during the very early stages of the project. We were able to collaborate with the architects (LAP) to discuss the solutions we could offer for the balustrade package. We provided some design suggestions as well as sent samples to the client. This meant they were able to analyse our product and its workability with the project in terms of the design they were trying to achieve. This early engagement allowed us to understand their requirements and gain a good understanding of the project requirements well in advance of the balustrade being required on-site.

Whilst working with the architects, we were also in touch with the appointed main contractor, Cura Construction. We worked with their estimating team to provide budget rates to indicate cost. Further to this, we began developing full quotations which were revised several times before agreeing on our final proposal. There were a few design changes and we coordinated with both Cura and LAP to agree on the most suitable and cost-effective solution. Finally, we were able to draw up our full offering and were shortly after appointed as the successful balustrade subcontractor for the scheme.

BA Systems provided balustrades to both the Residential Building and the Pier West Café to the left of the Luxury Clifftown Shore Building which also required balustrades;
